    About Us

    Welcome to The Sage Apron!

We've rebranded! The Sage Apron was formerly known as foodworthfeed.com. We've got a fresh new look but you can expect the same style of scratch cooking, baking and drink making.

We're Scott and Taylor Woodworth - the husband and wife team behind all things here at TheSageApron.com!

What Will You Find at The Sage Apron?

Our original food and beverage recipes feature real, fresh ingredients, classic Old World cooking methods and globally-inspired flavors. These recipes are an ever-growing collection of the things we love to cook, eat and share.

The recipes we make are influenced from multifaceted experiences from childhood, to traveling the world, to decades of working in award-winning restaurants.

At The Sage Apron, we take pride in creating well tested recipes that you can depend on. While some recipes are quick and easy, others are a slow-cooked labor of love. We are proud to provide visually guided recipes for home cooks of all skill levels. We write detailed posts full of step-by-step process shots and pro tips with a pinch of sage advice.

On The Sage Apron you can find scratch-made recipes that are perfect for big holiday meals, friendly potlucks, neighborhood gatherings, happy hours, and Sunday suppers with the whole family.

How It Began...Bread & Butter: Food & Photos

In the midst of 2020's infamous lockdown, The Sage Apron (then, foodworthfeed) dream was born.

In the depths of quarantine, when all else had been accomplished... (Baseboards scrubbed? Check. New puppy? Check. Sourdough starter? Her name was Doughreen)... Scott and I slowly began melding our hobbies together.

Before we knew it, we had hundreds of food photos slowing our old desktop computer and new recipes were scribbled in notebooks all throughout the house. Needless to say, The Sage Apron is fueled by a compilation of Scott and I's truest passions (and, let's be honest - LOTS of butter).

Debuting the first fruits of our labor in February of 2021, The Sage Apron was born and our very first recipe was posted. Scott and I are devoted to sharing our adventures in the kitchen through well-tested recipes and beautiful imagery.

Beyond the Kitchen: Behind the Lens

When we're not recipe testing, crammed into our tiny guest-bedroom-turned-photo-studio or working our day jobs... you can find Scott and I enjoying our days in and around our Denver, Colorado home.

We love traveling to new places, trying new restaurants, hiking through nature and enjoying live music. Our bests days are spent together, enjoying life's simple pleasures. We love spending time with our friends, taking our playful pup to the dog park, and sharing a nice meal with a bottle of wine.
